All
our Balls are reclaimed from lakes on golf courses around
the world. The balls are cleaned, sorted and graded.
We do not sell any re-touched, re-painted, varnished,
or re-stamped balls.
We sell balls in four grades, using the following grading
definitions:
‘Pearl’ (As
New)
These balls are in 1st
class condition. ‘Pearl’ lakeballs will
be free from scratches, scuff marks and discolouration.
But may have player’s identification marks on them.
Basically these lakeballs are “as new”.
‘AAA’
Grade ‘AAA’ lakeballs
will have narrowly failed to qualify as ‘Pearl’,
due to either a single blemish, small scratch or scuff
with maybe a small amount of discolouration. These balls
are ideal for playing in club matches and will not hinder
your play on the putting green.
‘AA’
Grade ‘AA’ lakeballs
will have failed as Grade ‘AAA’ due to a
combination of either scratches, scuffmarks or discolouration.
Our criteria for grading these balls is that in spite
of failing as Grade ‘AAA’, they are still
good enough to putt with in a non-competitive round and
you will not be too disappointed if you lose these balls
at these prices.
Practice (‘A’)
These balls have been
around the block a few times and have seen a few hooks
and slices. These are the type of balls you would use
for practicing with or get out on the tee when faced
with that go for it shot that will probably go wrong
and you don’t want to lose your expensive balls.
They include X-outs, old balls, & blemished balls.
They are perfect shag-bag balls and at less than 20p
per ball, you don’t have to spend too much time
looking for them.
